County Health Rankings - Outcomes

This indicator is a ranking based on an index of measures of health outcomes (e.g. rate of premature deaths) for each county's population. The ranking provides a picture of a population's health and helps communities identify starting points for improving the overall health of their members. The counties are ranked best to worst, 1 to 159. In general, rural counties tend to have worse health outcomes than urban counties.
