County Health Rankings - Factors

This indicator is a ranking based on an index of factors, such as health behaviors, socioeconomic status, and environment, that can affect health outcomes. The ranking provides a picture of a population's health and helps communities identify starting points for improving the overall health of their members. The counties are ranked best to worst, 1 to 159. In general, rural counties tend to have more negative health factors than urban counties.
